AMPHORA is the wine that embodies the finest selection of grapes from all the vineyards we cultivate at Valdonica. It begins with Sangiovese, clone VCR5, whose grapes are left to macerate in terracotta AMPHORA from October until April. Following this extended maceration, we blend in the best Ciliegiolo, Barsaglina, Colorino, and Vermentino Nero, which have been aging in second-passage oak tonneaux.

This prolonged maceration ensures unparalleled extraction, giving AMPHORA an exceptional body and structure.
